Wednesday, October 1 -  It's a beautiful day to come out to the Zoo. The water stream in the Children's Zoo will be open now on weekends only and Fall break, Oct 16 and 17.

Date Change - 2014 Monarch Tagging is now October 1-3 (1-3 p.m. daily). Free with Zoo admission.

Halloween Costume Swap

The Zoo is hosting its annual Halloween Costume Swap event on Saturday, October 4 from 10 a.m. - 2 p.m. Kids will enjoy shopping costumes that are “new” to them while adults enjoy the savings. For early drop-off, bring your new or gently used child-sized Halloween costumes to the Zoo’s Guest Relations office from September 29 through October 3, and receive a ticket to come back and shop our Swap on Oct. 4! One ticket for the Swap will be given for each costume donated. No Zoo admission required.
