The picnic areas are available during regular Zoo hours in four (4) hour blocks (10 a.m. – 2 p.m., and 4 p.m. – 8 p.m.). After hours times are 6 p.m. – 11 p.m. All areas are reserved only when Zoo catering is utilized. Security may be required for after-hour functions. There is an additional cost per hour for a Police officer. Outside caterers are not allowed on Zoo grounds. Events must end by 11:00 p.m. without prior approval. Equipment (band, etc.) removal must be completed by 12:00 a.m.

Jungle Gym Picnic Area
A shaded area for smaller picnics, includes picnic table seating. This area seats groups up to 90 people.

Devon Energy Roughneck Pavilion
This covered pavilion provides a sheltered area by the lake for picnics, weddings, and other special events. Picnic table seating is included with a minimum of 100 people required to reserve this area.
• Seating Capacity: 500 seats
• Availability: Daytime and Evenings until 11 p.m.
• Rental Fee: $250.00 plus catering costs
• Table Removal Fee: $350.00 (Weddings only)

Devon Energy Wildcat Pavilion
This covered Pavilion provides a sheltered area . Great for picnics and special occasions. A minimum of 100 people is required to reserve this area

• Rental Fee: $150.00 plus catering costs

West Picnic Area
A shaded area for larger picnics is great for picnics and special occassions. A minimum of 100 people is required to reserve this area.

• Event Capacity: 2000 people
• Availability: Daytime only (lighting not available)
• Rental Fee: $50.00 plus catering costs

Great Escape Event Area
An approximately 12 acre open area east of the Great EscApe area. It rests next to zoo lake with a basketball court(single), horseshoe area, and volleyball area. The rest is open space great for making your own mini amusement park. There are no tables or chairs in this area.
