Make a donation to the Zoo!

The Zoo relies on community support in order to meet our operational and conservation goals.  In order to assist us with providing an educational venue that supports international conservation efforts and scientific research, the Oklahoma Zoological Society, or ZooFriends, was founded in 1954 to support the Zoo in the their efforts.  Since its founding, ZooFriends has provided the Zoo with over $155 million in financial support.

If you are interested in donating to the Zoo, you may do so through the Oklahoma Zoological Society.  Donations can be made on line by clicking on the below link, or you may visit OZS's Membership Office, located at the Zoo's Main Entrance.

Does the Zoo ever donate tickets to organizations?

The Zoo receives hundreds of ticket donation requests each year.  These requests are handled on a case-by-case basis, and donations are not guaranteed.  Please note that we cannot make ticket donations to organizations for the purpose of silent auctions, raffles, or any venue where money will be directly or indirectly exchanged for the tickets.

To request a ticket donation from the Zoo, send us your request at least two weeks prior to the event on official company or organization letterhead.  Please include how many tickets you are seeking, the event you are hosting, the date of the event and your contact information and send it to:

A New Breath of Fresh Air: As of Nov. 1, 2007, state law prohibits smoking inside zoological parks. Please help us abide by this law by refraining from smoking within the Zoo. Thank you for maintaining a smoke-free environment for all living things!
