Stingray Bay Video Contest


At the OKC Zoo, we're sliding and gliding into summer fun with the grand opening of Stingray Bay! And you can join us! Grab your video camera or smart phone, grab some friends or go it alone. Whatever you do, give us a smile and show us how YOU move to the music with your version of the Stingray Wave! Enter your video(s) for your chance to win weekly drawings and the ultimate grand prize. 

Submission dates: The deadline has been extended through Friday, August 16, 2013.

Grand Prize: $1,000 Visa Gift Card to spend as you please, courtesy of Oklahoma City Community College.

Weekly Prizes: Tuition for a Zoology class at OCCC (valued at $309) and an OKC Zoo family annual membership (valued at $70). Prize winners will be randomly selected on Friday of each promotional week and announced by 5 p.m.

How It Works: Submit a short, original video (no longer than one minute) of your version of the Stingray Wave to [email protected]. Videos may be recorded at any location of your choice. Each eligible entrant may submit up to one video per day. Each week of the promotion approved video entries and/or winners will be posted at by date. Winners also will be posted at Weekly winners are also eligible to win the grand prize. The grand prize winner will be randomly selected on Friday, August 16, 2013, at 5 p.m., and announced by noon on Monday, August 19. Contest entrants must be Oklahoma residents who are at least 18 years of age. Thank you for keeping your videos family friendly.
