Aquaticus Facilities

Nautilus Room

A fun atmosphere for business meetings, birthday parties, or receptions. Four large portholes line one wall of the room for an "under the sea" look at our resident sea lions.

  • Seating Capacity: 70 seats
  • Cocktail Capacity: 100 guests
  • Availability: Daytime 8 a.m. through 5 p.m. Evening 6 p.m. through 11 p.m.
  • Rental Fee: Daytime $200.00 plus catering cost
  • Evening $250.00 plus catering cost
  • No catering: $50.00 per hour (minimum 2 hour rental)

Aquarium Galleries
The Zoo's galleries of fresh and salt-water aquariums provide a unique and romantic backdrop for dinner and cocktail receptions.

  • Seating Capacity: 60 seats
  • Cocktail Capacity: 150 guests
  • Availability: Evenings only
  • Rental Fee: $250.00 plus catering cost

Rosser Conservation Education Center

Auditorium
The auditorium offers a plush setting for business groups, speakers or graduating classes with A/V equipment at your fingertips. (Rental fees may be required for certain equipment.).

  • Max. Capacity: 280 guests
  • Availability: Daytime and Evenings until 11 p.m.
  • Rental Fee: $400.00 for four (4) hours and $100.00 per additional hour

Educational Classrooms
The classrooms offer an area for business meetings or dining. (Four classrooms available, which could open up to two large rooms. A $50.00 A/V hookup charge may apply).

  • Max. Capacity: 25-150 guests depending on set-up
  • Availability: Daytime and Evenings until 11 p.m.
  • Rental Fee: $100.00 for four (4) hours per room plus catering costs; $175.00 for four (4) hours for two (2) rooms plus catering costs; $75.00 per hour each classroom, minimum two hours without catering

Foyer and East Patio
The space is ideal for receptions and cocktail parties. The area showcases the architectural design of the building outlined with tinted glass and native plants. Step out onto the patio and enjoy an intimate picnic for small groups.

  • Max. Capacity: Depending on setup
  • Availability: 6 p.m. through 11 p.m.
  • Rental Fee: $700.00 plus cost of catering

The Canopy Restaurant
(Outside Food and Drink Not Permitted)

East Room

A rainforest atmosphere with a colorful mural of endangered animals at the entrance to the room. Glass walls surround the room opening up to the Zoo grounds as well as Zoo Lake to the east. This area offers an ideal setting for luncheons, receptions, banquets and after-hours functions.

  • Seating Capacity: 120 seats
  • Cocktail Capacity: 175 guests
  • Requires a minimum of 50 people
  • Availability: Daytime 8 a.m. through 5 p.m. (Due to normal Zoo visits, this room is available during daytime hours in the months of October through March only.
    Evening 6:30 p.m. through 11:30 p.m. (year-round)
  • Rental Fee: Daytime $300.00 plus catering costs; Evening $350.00 plus catering costs (minimum 2 hour rental)

Main Dining Room
A rainforest atmosphere with a colorful mural of endangered animals at the East End of the room. Tables for four (4) with colorful hand painted endangered animals pictured on them. Glass walls surround the room opening up to the Zoo grounds with a collection of native and tropical plants surrounding the exterior of the building. This areas offers an ideal setting for after-hours functions.

  • Seating Capacity: 180 seats
  • Cocktail Capacity: 250 guests
  • Requires a minimum of 100 people
  • Availability: Evening 6:30 p.m. through 11:30 p.m.. (Due to normal Zoo visits, this room is available during the evenings only)
  • Rental Fee: Evening $400.00 plus catering costs

The Entire Canopy
The east and main dining areas combined to offer a unique rainforest dining experience.

  • Seating Capacity: 300 seats
  • Cocktail Capacity: 500 guests
  • Availability: Evenings Only (6:30 p.m. through 11:30 p.m.)
  • Rental Fee: $700.00 plus catering costs
