CFO (Director/Business Services)


The Oklahoma City Zoological Park is looking for a knowledgeable, motivated and people-oriented individual who will plan and monitor financial, business, purchasing, risk management, food & beverage, visitor services, amphitheater activities, and manages worker’s compensation and medical insurance programs. The ideal candidate must have the ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with Zoo staff at all levels, Oklahoma City Zoological Trust members, Oklahoma Zoological Society officers and directors and the public.  This individual must also possess excellent communication and organizational skills and the ability to use a combination of experience and interpersonal skills to function effectively as a leader in a team environment.

Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or Business Administration. Experience equivalent to seven years full time professional level work in financial and/or business management in an enterprise with an annual total operating budget comparable to the Oklahoma City Zoological Trust ($16 million), two years of which involved supervisory responsibilities; OR, an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential duties of the job such as those listed in this job description. Must obtain a valid Oklahoma motor vehicle operator's license within thirty days of hire.
