The Oklahoma City Zoological Park is looking for a knowledgeable, enthusiastic, and motivated individual who will, under general supervision, assist with directing walk-in visitors to appropriate department/staff; assist with preparation of a variety of promotional materials, projects, and events to increase the public’s awareness and attendance; and assist with operating the main information switchboard. The ideal candidate must have ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with Zoo staff and the public; familiarity with the Zoo a plus. This individual must also possess excellent communication and organizational skills. Requirements: College student of sophomore standing or above, working toward a degree in Public Relations, Marketing, or a closely related field; OR two years experience in Public Relations, Marketing, Journalism, or a closely related field.

The minimum salary for this position is $8.55 per hour.
