Note - All Zoo rides and attractions operate weather permitting of 55 degrees or higher with wind, rain and heat considerations. No guarantee of the following schedules can be made and all attractions are subject to change without notice.

Centennial Choo Choo

Cost: $2 per person per ride. Children 2 and under are free, with paying adult.

 

Children's Zoo Water Stream

Free.

Open daily throughout the spring and summer seasons. Children may get wet and need a change of clothes.

The Barnyard area will be open from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. daily

Elephant Presentations

Cost: Free

All presentations are weather permitting with a temperature above 55 degrees.

March 1 - October 31: Daily presentations at 2 p.m. in the Elephant Pavilion.

Endangered Species Carousel

Cost: $2 per person per ride. Must be 42 inches tall to ride alone.

Open from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. daily, weather permitting of 55 degrees or higher.

Located by Zoo Lake and Carousel Cafe.

Explorikeet Adventure

Cost: Free to enter; $3 to feed.

Open daily 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., weather permitting.

Located in the Children's Zoo.

Giraffe Feeding Platform

Cost: $3 per person


Spring and Summer seasons: 11 a.m. - 12 noon and 1:30 - 2:30 p.m., daily, weather permitting.

Horticulture Happenings

 

Where is the Botanical Garden, you ask? The entire Zoo is an accredited living museum and botanical garden!

The Zoo includes more than 30,000 specimens of flowering bulbs, unusual and hard-to-find plants and more than 100 Oklahoma native species--29 of which are listed as imperiled or rare. The Zoo also is home to the largest, walk-through outdoor Butterfly Garden in Oklahoma and many designated horticultural displays and collections. Identification plaques and labels distinguish significant plants throughout Zoo grounds.

 

Safari Tram

Cost: $4 per person, all-day access; Children 2 and under are free with paying adult. Strollers are not permitted on the Tram.

Open from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. daily, weather permitting of 55 degrees or higher.

The main tram station is located just beyond the Global Plaza ticket turnstiles.

Safari Voyage

Closed for the season.

Cost: One-Way Trip is $2.00 adult, $1.00 ages 3-11 and Seniors; Unlimited Rides are $4.50 adult, $3.50 ages 3-11 and Seniors.  Free for ages 2 and under.

Located on Zoo Lake.

Sea Lion Presentation

Closed for the season

Cost: $2 per person; Free for ages 2 and under.

Stingray Bay!

Operations hours for Stingray Bay are subject to change without notice due to weather conditions and temperatures below 55 degrees.

Cost: $3 per person. Children two and under are free. ZooFriends' memberships do not apply.

Open daily from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. during regular hours.

Strollers, food and drink are not allowed in the pool area.

All guests must wash their hands at the hand-washing station before entering the pool area.

Located just beyond the Canopy Food Court on the way to the Aquaticus building.

Swan Paddleboats

Cost: $5 per boat for 30-minute ride

The Paddleboats operate weather permitting of 55 degrees and above with wind considerations.

Closed for the fall and winter seasons.

Located on Zoo Lake

Zoo Walking Trails

Free.

Nine walking trails, ranging in distance from .32 miles to 2.87 miles, are located and marked throughout the Zoo.

Open during regular and extended Zoo hours.

ZooZeum

Free with Zoo admission.

Visit the only museum of its kind in the country, the new Patricia and Byron J. Gambulos ZooZeum, and experience the zoological and botanical memories that guests and staff have encountered at the Zoo for more than 100 years. 

Located next to the Elephant Pavilion in the Elephant Habitat.

Summer hours (Mid-March through October 31) are from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Winter hours (November 1 through mid-March) are from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Weekend Keeper Connections

Keeper Connections are short presentations by Zoo keepers about Zoo animals and stationed throughout Zoo grounds on Saturdays and Sundays only beginning Saturday, March 15, and running through Sunday, October 26, 2014. Weekend Keeper Connections occur weather permitting. The 2014 schedule follows:
