On Sunday, June 28 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., scooterists can roll out to support animal conservation efforts at the Zoo. Kicking off at Atomic Brown Scooter Shop at 3104 N. Western, the scoot includes stops at Shartel Café, Irma’s Burger Shack on 63rd, Remington Park and the wildest place in town - the Oklahoma City Zoo! Registrants will enjoy special offers at each stop as well as chances to win fabulous prizes. A grand prize drawing will be held at the Zoo for a $250 gift certificate from Atomic Brown. Plus, all registrants will receive complimentary admission to the Zoo after the ride.
“The scooter ride is another fun way for people to support conservation and enjoy our great city and Zoo,” said Tara Henson, director of marketing and public relations for the Zoo. “I’ll be out on my scooter and I hope to see lots of people join us for an exciting day!”
Registration for this super scootin’ Sunday is $20 per individual, and all proceeds will benefit the Zoo’s conservation projects.
