OKC ZOO OFFERS EXCITING PART-TIME EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITIES

      Looking for a little adventure in your life? Consider working part-time at the Oklahoma City Zoo and Botanical Garden. The Zoo is now accepting applications for part-time employment opportunities for its upcoming season. Come experience the most unique work environment in town.

      If you are at least 16, interested in animals and like working with people, then the Zoo is for you. As a nationally renowned destination and industry leader, the Zoo is in search of passionate individuals dedicated to supporting its programs in education, conservation, zoological research and recreation. Open positions within the Zoo’s visitor services and food and beverage departments include ride operators, cashiers, cooks, catering attendants and animal presentation attendants. Select positions may include direct contact with some of the Zoo’s animals including giraffes, lorikeets and goats. The Zoo is also accepting applications for part-time custodians. Starting pay for all positions is minimum wage or higher with opportunities for advancement.

      Applicants must be able to work days and weekends during the months of March through October including holidays. Candidates must be able to work in all weather conditions and walk throughout the Zoo. Some positions may require candidates to be 18 years of age with a valid driver's license.

Children two and under are admitted free. Military members, spouses and up to five children receive a 50 percent discount. Parking is free.
