Safari Gift Shop

The Safari Gift Shop is located in the Zoo's Global Plaza and is open daily from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.  It houses apparel for the whole family, home décor items, educational toys and fun souvenirs. With the distinction of having the largest selection of plush animals in the metro area, this shop is a definite stop year 'round.  The Safari Gift Shop also offers all the necessities for a fun and safe day at the Zoo including sun block, hats, cameras, snacks, batteries and more. Zoo entry is not required.

Nautilus Gift Shop

The Nautilus Gift Shop, located in the lower level of the Aquaticus building, submerges visitors in an ocean full of aquatic-themed plush animals, souvenirs and educational toys.  Nautilus also offers sun block, hats, cameras, snacks, batteries and more. Nautilus is open daily from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.

ZooZeum Gift Shop

Near the Elephant Exhibit, the ZooZeum Gift Shop offers nostalgic items of the Zoo's 110-year history in a unique museum setting. It is stocked with memorabilia of Mathilda the Hippo, Judy the Elephant and much more. The shop also offers a selection of snacks, batteries, cameras and sun block along with apparel and plush elephants. The ZooZeum is open daily from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.

The Canopy Food Court

The largest eatery in the Zoo and located east of the Children's Zoo, the Canopy Food Court offers a delectable indoor dining experience in a rainforest atmosphere with an outside patio option. The menu includes pizza, Mexican food, fresh burgers, chicken tenders, corn dogs, salads, daily specials and vegetarian items.  Drinks include a variety of refreshing bottled and fountain drinks, ice tea and coffee.  Breakfast items, fresh fruit, snacks and desserts are available. A 300-seat facility, the Canopy Restaurant is also available for to reserve for special events.

Safari Café

Begin or end your day grabbing a bite at the Safari Café in the Global Plaza.  This convenient location offers ice cream, nachos, candy, popcorn and chips. Safari Cafe also offers breakfast items including fresh fruit, cereal and cappuccinos. Zoo is entry not required.

Seasonal Fare

Other food locations within the Zoo, such as the Big Rivers Café, the Carousel Café and the Lakeside Café containing snacks and drinks are open seasonally with various hours of operation depending on weather and crowd conditions.
