The Oklahoma City Zoo is pleased to announce the Elephant Photo Safari Contest! In celebration of the opening of our new Asian-themed elephant habitat on March 11, the Zoo is inviting the citizens of Oklahoma City to go wild in this creative contest! Information on the Elephant Photo Safari Contest rules and conditions can be found below.
Here's how it works: At metro Little Caesars locations, Penn Square Mall and Quail Springs Mall (see exact locations on the map below) and on Zoo grounds are special Zoo advertisements featuring the Zoo's Asian elephant sisters, Asha and Chandra. These photo spots allow Zoo fans to take a photo posing as a Zoo keeper!
Once you've snapped your wild photo, log on to www.okczoo.com to submit it! Contest entrants must be Oklahoma residents who are at least 18 years of age. Parents may send in photos of a child. Make sure to include your contact information, because you will be automatically entered in a drawing to win great prizes! You could win:
A Daily Prize: These great vouchers to local restaurants and businesses will provide fun for the whole family and are valued at $50 each!
A Weekly Prize: Five special kids will win the opportunity to have a VIP elephant experience and a fun party in the new Elephant Pavilion for their friends and family!
The Grand Prize: One lucky participant will win a fabulous Rainbow Play System provided by Statuary World! Check out the grand prize on the grassy area across from the Children's Zoo entrance.
Individual winners will be contacted by phone or email, and the Grand Prize Winner will be announced on April 9.
