Guest Services/Rentals

The Zoo offers disability access, a first aid station, nursing and diaper changing stations. Lost and found and services for lost children/people are available through Guest Relations.

Pets, roller blades, bicycles, skates, wheeled shoes, frisbees, glass containers, alcoholic beverages and straws are not permitted on Zoo grounds. Please do not share your own food with the animals or chase the free-ranging animals.

State law prohibits smoking inside zoological parks. Please help us abide by this law by refraining from smoking within the Zoo and parking lot.

The Zoo offers a variety of items for rental during your visit.  All rentals are available on a first come, first serve basis.  Please visit the Strollers Windows in the Zoo's Global Plaza to rent these items:

  • Strollers-Single: $5.00
  • Strollers-Double: $8.00
  • Wagons: $8.00
  • Wheelchairs: $5.00
  • Electric Convenience Vehicles: $20.00
  • Pet Hotel: $1.00
  • Lockers: $1.00 (4 quarters)
  • Zoo RangerTM GPS Tour:  $9.95

The Zoo also offers a Safari Cart for guests to reserve.  This seven-person golf cart is driven by a Zoo employee who will take your group around the Zoo.  Guests may rent the Safari Cart during one of three daily time slots for $40 per two-hour block.  Additional 30-minute blocks are available for $10/each depending on availability.  Safari Cart rentals require a reservation to guarantee availability.  To reserve the Safari Cart, please call the Zoo's Guest Relations office at (405) 425-0262.

Safari Cart Time Blocks:

  • 9 - 11 a.m.
  • 12-2 p.m.
  • 3-5 p.m.

The Zoo is a fully accredited member of the Association of Zoos and Aquariums (AZA) and the American Association of Museums (AAM) as both a living museum and a botanical garden.
