 Birthday Parties Looking for a unique birthday party for your child? Want a hassle free party? Why not use our fantastic zoo to celebrate your child’s birthday! Children ages 3-10 will love having their party at the zoo & parents will love the planned activities—with no clean up!! We have 3 birthday party packages available (for more information about the available parties click on the links at the bottom of the page): • Basic birthday party • Basic birthday party upgrade • ZooBuddy package All parties include: • Expert staff to take care of your needs • Specially decorated and themed birthday room • Party favors for young guests • Ice cream, punch and tableware for children • Age-appropriate activities • Time for unwrapping gifts • Admission to the Zoo for all guests (adult and children) attending the party Birthday parties are held on Saturdays in the education building. Space is limited (only 5 parties/day) so it’s never too early to make your reservation. A $50 non-refundable deposit is required in order to secure your date, time and room. Call 405-425-0218 for more information or to schedule your party. ZOO BIRTHDAY PARTY FAQ’S Where will my child’s birthday party be held? All birthday parties will begin in the Rosser Conservation Education Center which is at the far-east end of the Zoo’s main parking lot. When you send invitations please remind your guest to enter at the education center rather than the Zoo’s main entrance. Can I get a discount on the Zoo Birthday Party Packages with my ZooFriends membership? ZooFriends membership discounts do not apply to the Zoo’s birthday party packages. Why is the minimum age for birthday party children 3 years? To manage the party children most effectively, your party host has been trained to lead the children in directed activities & a guided tour designed for ages 3 and up. How many people can I invite to my child’s Zoo birthday party? Our birthday party facilities will accommodate a maximum of 40 people total. For a more memorable experience we suggest limiting your guest list to 15 children and 3 adult chaperones. Can I make substitutions to my child’s birthday package? Package prices are all-inclusive and in order to provide the smoothest, most seamless party for your child we don’t allow substitutions. Why can’t I register online for my child’s party? At this time our software doesn’t allow online registration for birthday parties. When can I come in and set up for my child’s Zoo birthday party early? In most cases your birthday party group can enter the Zoo birthday party rooms about 10 minutes prior to your scheduled party time. Do I need to bring plates, cups, drinks, etc….? The Zoo will provide plates, silverware, cups, ice cream, napkins and juice for the children. Due to the high number of people & unknown number of parents, we don’t have enough dishes and space in the dishwasher to accommodate all 5 back to back parties. If you are supplying food for your adult guests please plan to bring your own supplies for them. Can I bring in outside food? Yes, but each birthday party scheduled for the day has a set amount of time to get the party completed. You may have to move your food items to a picnic table within the Zoo. Can I bring balloons or a piñata for my child’s birthday party? For the safety of our animals piñatas and balloons are not allowed. Who will be responsible for the kids during the party? The Zoo birthday party host will facilitate your child’s party but parents are still responsible for their children’s behavior.
